Meet Our Principal Podiatrist

Clinical Expertise with an Analytical Edge

With almost 30 years of experience operating a private clinical practice, our principal podiatrist provides comprehensive, dedicated care to the local community.

Before establishing his career in podiatry, he completed a strong foundational background in engineering. This analytical mindset directly benefits his clinical work today. Whether he is assessing complex diabetic microcirculation, treating standard dermatological foot conditions, or managing structural alignment, he looks at the lower limb through a precise, problem-solving lens.

He believes that effective podiatry is not just about treating symptoms, but about understanding the systemic health and structural mechanics of the entire foot. Having practiced locally for decades, his philosophy centers on providing thorough, unhurried, private treatments tailored strictly to the individual needs of each patient.

Primary Areas of Clinical Focus

1. General Podiatry & Skin Care

We provide expert treatment for a wide range of everyday foot and nail conditions, ensuring immediate comfort and preventing localized complications. This includes the management of:

  • Dermatological Foot Health: Expert care for hyperkeratosis (calluses) and corns.

  • Nail Pathologies: Treatment for thick, dystrophic, or ingrown toenails.

  • Pain Management: Addressing general foot pain, structural strain, and localized infections.

2. Diabetes Foot Management & Assessment

Diabetes can significantly impact lower limb health by affecting circulation and nerve function. We provide critical, structured diabetes foot care to protect your mobility:

  • Comprehensive Neurovascular Assessments: Detailed testing of sensation (neuropathy detection) and arterial blood flow (doppler assessment) to monitor and mitigate diabetic risks.

  • Preventative Care & Education: Proactive treatment plans designed to prevent ulceration, manage skin integrity, and detect potential complications early.

  • GP Liaison: Providing clear clinical feedback to your treating physician to support your overall health management.

3. Biomechanical Analysis & Orthotic Therapy

Complementing our general treatments, we utilize an analytical approach to address structural imbalances and gait anomalies:

  • Detailed mechanical evaluation of foot posture and walking patterns.

  • Prescription and design of custom functional orthoses to redistribute pressure, relieve structural strain, and restore proper alignment.
