Diabetic Foot Assessment & Care
Diabetes requires vigilant, proactive foot care to prevent complications and maintain long-term mobility. Our clinical assessments are highly structured and focused on early detection, objective risk stratification, and precise preventative management for individuals diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
What Our Clinical Assessment Includes:
Vascular Evaluation: Assessing lower limb circulation, including pedal pulse palpation and objective Doppler ultrasound arterial waveform analysis, to closely monitor peripheral arterial health.
Neurological Screening: Precision testing for peripheral neuropathy utilizing monofilament tactile testing and vibration perception testing to detect any early loss of protective sensation.
Dermatological & Structural Review: Identifying localized pressure areas, skin integrity changes, or structural friction points before they can compromise the skin barrier.
GP Coordination & Reporting: Full clinical findings can be documented and communicated directly back to your managing General Practitioner to ensure seamless, coordinated care with your broader healthcare team.
